The Exotic Wild Plant - Botswana

Reaching for the Heights at Kgale Hill - Gaborone

Kgale Hill is a small hill in Gaborone.  "Kgale" in Setswana means "The Place that Dried Up".  
It is a favorite place with the hikers to climb during weekends or public holidays.  We climbed the hill and took some pictures of the trail and the surroundings.  During our hike, we only met two other hikers.  There was a stillness in the place which which cannot be described in words, and the camera could not bring justice also the beauty of the dry and shimmering bushes.  I loved the hike and might go again to attempt to take more pics - perhaps what I saw with my eyes and felt in my heart might come out in further pictures.  Wikipedia also has a small description of the hill...~Rosy Kaur

Just by the Road side...

Botswana has its unique art & craft style.  These are metallic animal figurines which are somewhat homemade and sold by the road side.  Just seeing them laid out is a sheer pleasure.  Today, we took some pics...~Rosy Kaur
